“μ€λ‘ν©λλ€, μ£Όλ¬Έμ λ°μΌμκ² μ΄μ?”
(Excuse me, would you take my order?)
β What Koreans actually say
μ¬κΈ°μ! π
Excuse me! (to call a server) β used 99% of the time
μ΄κ±° μ£ΌμΈμ. π
I’ll have this, please. β just point at the menu!
λ§μμ΄μ! π
This is delicious! β Koreans love hearing this
π‘ Pro tip
Koreans almost never say “μ€λ‘ν©λλ€” in a restaurant. It sounds overly formal and a bit awkward. Just shout “μ¬κΈ°μ!” β everyone does it, and it’s perfectly polite.
